Management Software is a leading developer of business process management
software for service businesses on Macintosh and Windows. Management
Software is based in Cortland, New York, where we have provided custom
programming services and vertical software applications since 1989.
Since its inception, Management Software has offered several vertical
market software applications, custom programming services, consulting,
and training. Using 4th Dimension, a relational database programming
language, Management Software develops affordable software applications
for automating operations and procedures, which deal with both relational
databases and spatial data.
Our hottest product is JobOrder(TM) Business Process Management software.
JobOrder is an easy-to-learn, multi-user management tool for graphic
design, advertising, and consulting. JobOrder streamlines repetitive
administrative tasks into a dynamic relational database, continuously
refining a company's business processes. Comprehensive in its scope,
JobOrder tracks time and expenses, prints estimates and purchase orders,
provides billing capabilities as well as full double-entry accounting,
and integrates scheduling through Control Centers that unite pertinent
job and resource information onto one screen for easy entry and review.
With all our products, we incorporate new features upon request and
provide enhancements to keep stride with changing technology. We also
offer full technical support, installation, and training services.
Both our vertical market software programs and our custom programming
applications combine the flexibility of a user-friendly environment
perfect for computer novices with extraordinary data management tools
suitable for "power users". Management Software products are strongly
integrated and feature easy accessibility of data for review and presentation
in an almost limitless array of formats. Our products are sold worldwide
through direct, reseller, and vertical market association channels.
Management Software Incorporated is a private corporation founded
in 1989 (under the name MapPower Corporation) to develop and deliver
cost-effective Geographic Information System (G.I.S.) solutions to
municipal governments. Management Software's Integrated Government
Management System and Community Development Management System were
both developed toward this end. Both combine our flexible database
program with computerized mapping programs. These G.I.S. products
are powerful, user-friendly, productive tools for managing and analyzing
geographic data.
JobOrder was first released to the public on a limited basis in 1995
and was sold only to our custom programming customers. Significant
sales of JobOrder through resellers began in 1999.
Although Management Software's focus has shifted to concentrate on
selling, supporting, and refining JobOrder, we continue to offer a
full range of support services to our existing customers for whom
we perform custom programming. |
