Support - Problem Report

Instructions for Sending Problem Reports to report@joborder.com

We recommend use of this email address to report software problems that appear straightforward and
that are not urgent. In order for us to diagnose the problem you are reporting we must be able to
duplicate it. Please answer each of the following questions in your email:

  1. What Release Number of JobOrder are you using? What date was the JobOrder structure
    updated? The Release Number and the date are found by going to the ‘About JobOrder’ box
    under the Apple Menu on Macintosh and under the Help Menu on Windows.
  2. What operating system version(s) are you using for Server and for Client, or what are you using
    for JobOrder Solo?
  3. Please give detailed step-by-step instructions to duplicate the problem. Begin from the main
    Palette and include every action taken before the problem occurs.
  4. If an error message is displayed, please include a full-screen capture showing the full text of the
    error message. Contact Michael Rumsey in our Technical Support Department if you need
    instructions on making screen captures.

If we are able to duplicate and fix the problem, we will let you know the status of the solution via email.
If we are unable to duplicate the problem, you will be contacted via email with the results of our
initial investigation. There will be no charge for the time spent on this initial investigation. Any
additional time spent diagnosing the problem will be covered under the terms of your current
Customer Support Contract

Inappropriate uses of report@joborder.com

  1. report@joborder.com is not for emergencies! This email address is checked regularly only after
    the conclusion of normal business hours. Emergency questions should be either telephoned or
    emailed to Michael Rumsey and will be handled under the terms of your Customer Support
    contract.
  2. Emails sent to report@joborder.com should not be addressed to individuals at Management
    Software. If an email question requires the attention of a specific individual, it should be
    addressed to their individual email account and will be treated as a regular Customer Support
    question.
  3. report@joborder.com is not to be used for questions about custom programming performed
    specifically for your organization.
